Day 1: Arrival
With your arrival at the closet airport to Angama Mara, Kichwa Tembo, you will be picked up by the tour guide who will further transfer you to the camp. Reaching there, check-in and you have the time to rest and to have lunch before proceeding for your time permitting afternoon game drive. Wilderness in Masai Mara is not just diverse but the enthralling big five and predators make the open plain thrilling enough for an enthralling game drive. Get back to the camp for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drives
The morning game drive starts with early in Masai Mara where you can discover the savannah and the open plains that house some magnificent wilds. Hot air ballooning is one of the best ways to observe the Masai plains. You will get back to the camp for breakfast and lunch before the afternoon game drive starts. You will be accompanied by the ranger on your safari vehicle where you can spot the big five and the wilds gathered near the riverbeds and waterholes. You will get back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure
You will proceed for your early morning game drive where you can enjoy the bird watching and more. Your breakfast will be served at the camp and later you will check-out. Get transferred to the nearest airport to board the flight for onward destination.
Location
Angama Mara in Masai Mara can be reached with a 45 min chartered flight from Nairobi to the nearest airstrip Kichwa Tembo. The road distance from the airstrip to Angama mara is about a half-hour drive.
