03 Days Flatdogs Camp Safari
Flatdogs camp is one of the largest camps in South Luangwa National Park, lying close to the entry gate of the park. With the low cost and reasonable service, the camp is best known among backpackers and budget travelers. The camp can accommodate 40 guests on a self-catering basis where the guest has to take the meal independently. The unfenced pool is great to enjoy leisure as a sundowner or game watching in free time.

Program
Day 1: Arrival
Reaching the Mfuwe Airport, you will be transferred to the Flatdogs camp with a short 45 min of drive. As you check-in, you have the time to relax and lunch will be served before you proceed for the scheduled afternoon guided safari walk. South Luangwa national park is home to some of the incredible wilds of Africa. The dinner will be served at the camp.
Day 2: Game Drives
With an early breakfast, you will get ready for the morning game drive for an exciting wildlife excursion and bird watching. The park houses the most diverse and incredible birds with fascinating predators. Breakfast and lunch will be served at the camp and later in the afternoon, you will proceed for another game drive with the ranger. South Luangwa is home to the big five and other endemic African species. Enjoy the game drive and you will get back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Departure
Start the day with the early game drive and breakfast. You will get back at the camp for checking-out. Later you will be dropped at the airport to board the flight for onward destination.

Flatdogs camp is just 1 km from the South Luangwa National Park gate. The nearest airport, Mfuwe Airport is a 45-minute drive while flights from Lusaka to Mfuwe Airport takes around 70-minute.
