Sited on the north bank of the Talek River, Rekero Camp is a traditional style tented camp that is located in the centre of the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. The camp houses nine tents that are good in size and offers a comfortable stay to the guests. Day 1: Arrival
Getting down at Olkiombo airstrip, you will be transferred to Rekero Camp. On the way, you can enjoy a game drive tour ( if time permits) where you will get the opportunity to spend some time with the amazing species of Africa. Home to the Big 5 and other endangered animals, Masai Mara National Reserve is a haven for wildlife lovers. On arrival at the camp, check-in and enjoy your dinner along with the mesmerizing view of the camp.
Day 2: Game Drives
Get up for your morning safari drive early in the morning. The peaceful and vibrant sunrise is the best way to enjoy the wild at your height. There are free-roaming wilds spotted with the diverse birdlife during the morning game drive. You will get back to the camp for breakfast and lunch. Relax before you head out for the afternoon safari drive. Explore the region discovering Africa's endangered and native species. In addition to the big cat, hippo, buffalo, wildebeest and crocodiles can be seen near the waterholes and other wild terrains. Dinner will be served at the camp before you call off for the day.
Day 3: Departure
Begin your day with delicious breakfast at the camp and later check out. Proceed for a game drive and enjoy the picturesque of the savannah and the vibrant sunrise. Later, get transferred toOlkiombo airstrip and board flight for your onward destination.
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and get transferred to Olkiombo airstrip which is an hour flight. From the airstrip, head to the Rekero Camp which is a 30-minute drive.
