Program
Day 1: Arrival
Reaching Hwange Airport, you will board the chartered flight for Manga airstrip and from there you will be transferred to the Somalisa Expeditions Camp. Check-in there and the lunch will be served before proceeding for the afternoon game drive. The game drive will let you discover the majesties and wildlife of the reserve. Return to the camp by the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drives
The game drive in the morning is the best time to explore Hwange National Park's wildlife with the beautiful and peaceful sunrise here. Soon you will be transferred back to the camp for breakfast followed by lunch and leisure break. Afternoon calls for another game drive where you can see the herds of huge wildebeest, giraffes, monkeys, African lions, zebras, antelope, and hyenas. Your safari tour for the day will end up at the camp where you enjoy the dinner and leisure night.
Day 3: Departure
Get up early for your morning game drive at Hwange and soon you will get back to the camp for breakfast. Later you will be transferred to the Manga airstrip boarding the flight to the nearest international airport for an onward journey.
Location
The nearest airport to Somalisa Expedition is Hwange Airport which is 147 km from the camp. Alternatively, you can choose to fly to the nearest Manga airstrip and from there you can take a 30-minute game drive transfer to the camp.
